This wedding was the perfect example. The entire day was centered on having fun with their people, and then downtown Green Bay threw us a little plot twist. A festival and protests meant some of our planned portrait locations were suddenly off the table. Apparently, the city did not check our wedding timeline first. 😂

It gives your gallery variety without requiring a forty-five-minute road trip in the middle of your wedding day.

At least, that’s the plan. 😂

For this wedding, we had portrait locations picked out ahead of time and knew exactly where we wanted to go. Then the wedding day arrived, and downtown Green Bay had some other plans for us. Between a festival and protests happening nearby, some of the locations we’d planned to use suddenly weren’t going to work.

Just remember that summer also means festivals, events, and busier weekends, which, as we’ve already established, can occasionally have opinions about our portrait plans. Fall
