Let me tell you about Alex and Cori’s absolutely magical wedding day in Mount Horeb. Picture this: a beautiful fall day in Wisconsin’s Driftless Area, with love literally bursting at the seams.

These two? They totally nailed the western-inspired wedding vibe. We’re talking cowboy boots, rustic cabin vibes, and all the countryside charm you could imagine. From the moment I starting chatting with Cori and Alex, I knew this wasn’t going to be just another wedding – this was going to be something special.

The landscape around Mount Horeb is basically a photographer’s dream. Golden sunlight, rolling hills, and two people madly in love? Pretty much perfect. Cori looked stunning in a dress that perfectly mixed elegance with that laid-back country style, and Alex? Total gentleman in a black suit jacket, jeans, and a black cowboy hat.

Their wedding party was a blast – everyone rocking those cowboy boots and just radiating joy. They shared a intimate ceremony with close family and friends at their family cabin which was the perfect scene of romance and adventure.

As the day rolled on, it was all about those incredible moments. Laughing, dancing, stolen kisses, and pure happiness. The string lights, the gorgeous sunset, the incredible energy – it was like everything came together perfectly. A few of my favorite parts of the day include Alex and Cori’s intimate first look where they shared their vows privately. Their three dogs walking down the aisle. Jamming out to country classics on the party bus on the way to their reception. Cori and Alex surprising their wedding party by playing “Thunderstruck” at the head table following the grand march. Cori and Alex’s closest friends surrounding them as they danced together on the dance floor. The most magical golden hour sunset photos up on top of the ridge. Alex and his groomsmen enjoying a cigar at the reception. An epic champagne spray after the sun went down. I could just keep going there were too many incredible moments!

When the sun started to set, casting that magical golden light over everything, I just knew I’d captured something truly special. Alex and Cori’s love isn’t just a love story – it’s a Wisconsin love story, complete with all the beauty and authenticity that makes this place so incredible.
