There’s something magical about a fall wedding in Wisconsin, where the crisp autumn air mingles with golden sunlight and the countryside puts on its most spectacular show. For Katryna and Donny’s special day at Vintage Fields in Columbus, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect for their boho western celebration.
The couple chose to begin their journey as husband and wife with an intimate ceremony attended by just their closest friends and family. This thoughtful decision created an atmosphere of deep connection and authenticity as they exchanged their vows, with every guest present holding a special place in their hearts. The private ceremony allowed for genuine, heartfelt moments that set the perfect tone for the celebrations to come.
The bride was a vision in her gown from Marah’s Bridal in Mount Horeb. In true country fashion, Katryna started her day in a pair of stunning cowgirl boots, later switching to personalized Converse sneakers that perfectly captured her playful spirit and ensured she could dance the night away.
The couple’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect of their celebration. The boho western-inspired décor transformed Vintage Fields into a Pinterest-worthy scene, with ethereal floral arrangements that combined rustic elements with soft, romantic touches. Mason jars filled with dried florals and burlap lined the tables, while antlers and twinkle lights created a sophisticated and down-to-earth atmosphere.
One of the day’s most memorable moments came during the wedding party photos on a weathered old bridge nearby. The historic structure, with its timeworn wooden planks and rustic charm, provided the perfect backdrop for capturing the joy and camaraderie of the couple’s closest friends. The photos perfectly embodied the country aesthetic they’d dreamed of for their celebration. Katryna and Donny celebrated with their personalized Shotski with their wedding party cheering them on!
The couple’s portrait session took an unexpected turn when they discovered a sleek red sports car near the local vineyard where they were shooting. Never ones to pass up an opportunity for unique photos, Katryna and Donny posed with the vehicle, creating a striking contrast between vintage and modern that resulted in some of the day’s most memorable shots.
As additional guests arrived for the reception, the celebration expanded into a joyful gathering of extended family and friends. The reception was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. Guests raved about the creative taco bar, which offered a delicious alternative to traditional wedding fare. The evening’s centerpiece was a stunning three-tier wedding cake that combined elegant design with rustic charm, much like the celebration itself.
As the sun set over Vintage Fields, casting a warm glow across the celebration, it was clear that Katryna and Donny had created something special – a wedding that wasn’t just a ceremony, but a genuine reflection of their love story. Their boho western wedding proved that with the right blend of personal touches, even the most diverse elements can come together to create something truly magical.
The day was a beautiful reminder that the best weddings aren’t about following trends or traditions, but about staying true to who you are as a couple. From cowgirl boots to Converse, from vintage bridges to sports cars, every element of Katryna and Donny’s celebration told their unique story. I feel so thankful and honored to have been apart of it!
